Practice Limited to Medical Oncology
Dr. Jennifer McDaniel has had a lifelong love of animals. She aspired to be a veterinarian from a very young age. After her first family dog, Wembly, was diagnosed with cancer her focus switched from general veterinary practice to a specialty in veterinary oncology. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in natural resources and the environment in 2004. In 2009 she earned a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University.
Dr. McDaniel completed a one-year small animal medical and surgical internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington DC, followed by a one-year medical oncology internship at The Oncology Service. Under the instruction and mentorship of Dr. Gerald Post she finished a 3-year medical oncology residency and is a candidate to receive board certification from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in the specialty of oncology.
